How can I purchase a ticket?For your convenience, there are several different options for purchasing tickets for Sandler Center events.
Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover are all accepted methods of payment at the Sandler Center Box Office. No Checks are accepted.
All seats are subject to a facility fee. These are sometimes not included in advertised prices (this is done at promoter discretion). Tickets purchased through Online, charge-by-phone, are subject to additional service charges. Sales done at the box office windows do not have additional service charges. Where is the box office located?
How can I pick up my ticket?Will Call Window Tickets purchased online and over the phone for pick up at the Will Call Window will be available 2-3 hours prior to show time at the Sandler Center Box Office.

What types of discounts are offered for tickets?Tickets For Children Discounted ticket prices for kids are sometimes available for various shows. Age restrictions and the amount of the discount vary by event and are at the discretion of the touring act. Want to Purchase Tickets for Your Group? Group discounts are offered for most games and events held at the Sandler Center. Anyone interested in purchasing tickets for a group may contact the Group Sales Department at 757-282-2819 Typically, the minimum order is 10-15 tickets. |
What happens if an event is canceled? Can I refund or exchange my ticket?Cancelled or Postponed Events In the event a performance is cancelled or rescheduled, information is immediately sent to the local media for distribution and placed on the Sandler Center website and event line. Please be aware that there is no way to contact individual ticket holders other than the local media. If an event is cancelled, refunds will automatically be given to phone and online orders. Customers, who purchased at the box office, need to return their tickets to the box office for a refund. If the event is rescheduled, tickets purchased for the original date will be honored at the new date. In most cases, refunds will also be available at the box office up until the day of the new show date. Refunds / Exchanges Customers can upgrade tickets for events when possible; however this is not a guaranteed policy and is done at the sole discretion of the event promoter. If the tickets were purchased through Online Ticketing or by Phone Please wait until 48 hours prior to the start of the event, to allow time for the tickets to arrive in the mail. If they still have not arrived by then, please contact the Sandler Center's box office (757-385-ARTS) to report your tickets lost or not received. They will give you further instructions once you place a report with them.
What features are available for patrons with disabilities?Features for Patrons with Disabilities In addition to the main entrance, Bank and Commerce Street entrances are also wheelchair accessible. Once inside the Sandler Center, elevators are available to provide access between levels. Handicap Seating Handicap accessible seating is available at various locations throughout the Sandler Center. Handicap seating is available to the patron with the disability and one guest. To purchase handicap accessible seating, please call (757) 385-ARTS during box office hours. Handicap Parking For your convenience, there are several available parking lots within walking distance of the Sandler Center. Accessible parking is available in all of the parking lots surrounding the Sandler Center. In order to park in the spaces reserved for disabled guests, the vehicle must have a state issued handicapped window pass, sticker, or license plate. Advance parking purchases are available through the Sandler Center Box Office. Assisted Listening Device Assisted listening devices are available to hearing-impaired guests at no cost. The assisted listening device is a headset that broadcasts the Sandler Center's Sound System on a FM frequency. Any patron checking out an assisted listening device must leave a driver's license or a valid form of identification to receive the headset. They are available at the Guest Services/Coat Check booth located in the main lobby across from the entry doors.
